Employment statistics for the City of Geneva.
At the time of the 2000 Census, 6,351 Geneva residents were in the labor
force, including 64 percent of males and 55 percent of females over 16 years
of age. Those who were not in the labor force were teenagers, college
students, housewives, and retirees. Less than 5 percent of the City's
residents who were in the labor force were unemployed. The majority of
those employed held full-time positions, working 35 or more hours per week.
