Geneva Fire Department

Fire Department Dispatch
Fire Department dispatchers man the 911 center around the clock, answering all of the City's 911 calls and dispatching fire emergencies. Geneva's dispatch center is also a backup site for Ontario County's dispatch center, capable of dispatching all emergencies in the eastern end of the county.

... in an Emergency:
The City of Geneva, as well as the rest of Ontario County, has united all emergency services under a single telephone number, 911. A genuine emergency is a sudden, urgent, unexpected occurrence that requires immediate attention from fire fighting, law enforcement, or medical personnel. ALWAYS dial 911 if you are not sure if you have an emergency.

... in a Non-Emergency: When reporting private fire alarm system status or to notify the department you are testing your fire alarm system, you should call (315) 789-2121. To contact the Geneva Fire Department concerning fire investigations, fire safety inspections, municipal fire code, or fire prevention programs contact the Fire Chief's office at (315) 789-6305.

What about TDD? The fire department answers the City's TDD system. To reach any City department, TDD operators should dial (315) 789-4399. If a TDD operator dials 911, the electronic signals of the TDD will tell the 911 computer to transfer the call to the City's TDD. If you have any questions or concerns with a City department and are using a TDD, dial (315) 789-4399. The dispatcher will deliver your message to the appropriate department.
