The Highway Department is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all streets and highways in the City. In addition to maintaining 45 miles of streets, the department is responsible for snow and ice control; street sweeping; spring and fall debris pickup; asphalt patching and paving; roadway painting and sealing; and sign maintenance.
