The Highway Department is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all streets and highways in the City. In addition to maintaining 45 miles of streets, the department is responsible for snow and ice control; street sweeping; spring and fall debris pickup; asphalt patching and paving; imprint crosswalk and roadway painting and sealing; sign maintenance; voting machine delivery, removal and storage; and City street oil and stone sealing.
