Morabito
The current staff is responsible for the welfare of the City's water
supply. Almost all of the maintenance of the processing equipment,
building repairs and grounds upkeep, and the plant and system water
quality testing are done by staff. Work at the plant is expanding
resulting from new Federal and State regulations. Added equipment,
such as the SCADA system, more on-line analyzers and booster station
needs, have increased the workload. As more water lines are replaced
or created, staff is working more closely with the Water Maintenance
Division regarding testing. The plant staff maintains relationships
with NYSDOH and other water plants for mutual aid cooperation.
