The Marsh Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant provides wastewater treatment for the City of Geneva, portions of the Town of Waterloo, two landfills' leachate, and septic tank waste. The plant is being upgraded to meet the ever-changing regulations imposed by the NYS DEC and the US EPA. Sludge generated as a result of the treatment process is composted and converted into a beneficial re-use product that is marketed throughout New York State as an excellent soil additive.
