The City Manager's Office is responsible for the administration of all City affairs, including support for the City Council.  Administrative duties include preparation and administration of the yearly budget and capital programs; supervision of City offices and departments; and execution of contracts, leases, etc. as specified by the Charter and authorized by City Council.  The office also carries out personnel and human resource functions for all City employees, including benefits management, coordination of Civil Service with Ontario County, and employee training/support programs.

The mission of the City of Geneva government is to enhance the quality of life, expand economic opportunities, and protect the public health and safety of City residents, taxpayers and visitors.  The City will carry out services, programs and practices that seek to achieve the City's vision in an effective and economical manner.
