The City of Geneva is committed to providing the highest level of customer
service in execution of our mission. We believe that the cornerstone
of customer service is an open and transparent government operation.
To that end, the City Manager has appointed Public Information Officers for
each department. These individuals are responsible for providing
quick, accurate responses to inquiries for information, but more
importantly, proactive dissemination of information on City programs,
services, and facilities.
Chief Information Officer

Matt serves as the lead point-of-contact for all media inquiries for City
programs, services, and facilities. General media and public
information requests can be routed through the City Manager’s Office.
Chief Records Officer

Doris serves as the City’s Chief Records Officer. She is responsible
for maintenance of all public records in the City. All freedom of
information requests can be directed to her. She also serves as the
PIO for the City Clerk’s Office.
Office of the Comptroller Public Information Officer

Ed has committed over three decades of service to the Geneva community;
first as Deputy Comptroller, and most recently, in his appointment as
Comptroller and Chief Financial Officer. Ed’s office manages
information activities relative to financial operations of the City.
Fire Department Public Information Officer

Chief Combs provides day-to-day management and oversight of fire prevention,
education, and firefighting activities in the City. He serves as the
primary point-of-contact for all information requests relative to fire
protection in Geneva.

facilities in the City. She provides information management for
activities relative to athletic and cultural programming for Geneva.

As a Geneva native, he is committed to preserving the quality of life that
he enjoyed growing up in Geneva. He provides up to the minute
information on critical incidents and department activities for the GPD.
Neighborhood Information Officer

neighborhood revitalization. He is responsible for delivery of
