These days, most folks are just too busy to get down to City Hall to grab a form, pay a ticket, or get information on recreation programs. The following services are available via the City website.

Audit

The Finance Office is responsible for management and oversight of the annual external audit.

Birth/Death Certificate

The City Clerk’s Office maintains records of all births and births and deaths occurring in the City.

Building/Business Checks

On request, the Geneva Police Department will conduct a security check of businesses/buildings while owners are temporarily out of town.  Click here to request a check for your building/business.

The Geneva City Council meets the first and last Wednesday of each month, and other times as necessary.

Neighborhood Associations/Programs

The Geneva Neighborhood Resource Center, a project of the City’s Office of Neighborhood Initiatives, maintains contact information for neighborhood associations across the City.  In addition, we manage programs geared at improving housing and other neighborhood conditions.  Click here for more information on the Center.


New/Expanding Business Incentives

The City of Geneva and our economic development partners offer low interest loans, grants, and reduced cost building leases and greenfield sites to new or expanding businesses.  Click here for more information.

Private Property Maintenance Issues

If you observe garbage, broken windows, graffiti, or other maintenance issues on private property, you may report it by clicking here.

Public Facility Maintenance Issues

If you observe damage, vandalism, or other maintenance issues in City buildings, parks, roads, rights of way, or other public property, you may report it by clicking here.


Public Records

The City Clerk serves as Chief Records Officer for the City of Geneva.  As such, the Clerk’s Office is the repository for all public records generated by the City.

Recreation Programs


The Recreation Department manages activity at the City’s parks and other recreational facilities.  To get information on seasonal recreation programming, download registration information for recreation programs, or to get information on reserving space in parks or the Geneva Recreation Complex, click here.

If you witness an activity that appears suspicious or criminal in nature, you may report it by clicking here. If you are witnessing an activity that is placing life or property in danger, call 911 immediately.
